1. going backwards is easier than going forwards. i mean that as a bad thing, but i'm not really sure where i get that going forwards should somehow be intrinsically positive either.

2. just because you fall out of love doesn't mean that that love was a failure, or that it never existed, or that it is any less real than it was in all of the moments when you thought, "this is it. i'm in love and i am going to love this person with all of my being for the rest of my life".

3. shut the fuck up and do something about it already! if you're going to be unhappy, at least be unhappy in a productive way and make some changes to your life. stop wallowing.
